What's the difference between aftermarket and premium screens?
Aftermarket screens are quality third-party panels that perform well for everyday use. Premium (OEM-equivalent) screens more closely match the original factory colour temperature, brightness and touch sensitivity. Will my Face ID or fingerprint sensor still work after a screen repair?
Face ID (iPhone X and later) works through a separate sensor and is not affected by screen replacement. Touch ID (iPhone 8 and earlier, SE models) uses the home button — we don't replace the home button, so Touch ID is preserved. Some Samsung models use an in-screen fingerprint sensor, which is tested before you leave.
How long does a screen replacement take?
iPhone screens: one to two hours. Samsung Galaxy screens: two to three hours. More complex models (Galaxy S21 Ultra, iPad Pro) may take longer. We'll give you a time estimate when you drop off.
Is the replacement screen covered by a warranty?
Yes. Our screen repairs carry a parts and labour warranty. Ask us for the specific terms when you drop off.
My screen looks fine but the touch doesn't work — is it the screen or something else?
Unresponsive touch with no visible damage usually points to a failed digitiser layer (the touch sensor built into the display). It can occasionally be a software issue. We'll diagnose it before committing to a repair — and if we can't fix it, you're not charged.
